We organised a national school challenge on environmental awareness together with Nestlé

September 2021 – Recycling, selective waste collection, reducing food waste – these were some of the topics covered by Nestlé Hungária and SPAR Hungary’s interactive education package for primary school students, promoted by Next9. In the 2021 campaign, together with Nestlé, we encouraged classes to use the knowledge they had acquired in class to take part in a week-long attitude-building challenge called Recycling Hero Challenge: collect waste selectively, minimise the amount of food thrown away and then produce a creative report on their experiences. In the latter, the classes could win valuable prizes: the first prize was 300 000 HUF, which they could spend on a class trip, and the first three winners could visit the FKF’s 15th District Consciousness-Building and Recycling Centre for a half-day programme. The campaign was very popular with young schoolchildren, with 100 entries from almost all over the country.
