Quarantine stories of readers inspired latest POKET book

We are all experiencing what it feels like to be away from family members and friends during the coronavirus pandemic. The volunteers of Amigos Foundation regularly visit children with major illnesses, who spend months in a hospital receiving treatment and experiencing a similar feeling. The parallel above gave the inspiration for the literary contest “Amigos on a POKET page – friendship confined to a room”, for which anyone could apply with 150 word quarantine stories. We organized the communication of Hungary’s largest food industry investment

Nestlé opened Hungary’s largest food industry investment in Bük, valued at over HUF 50 billion. Following the expansion, the capacity of PURINA pet food factory of Bük will exceed 5 million products a day, meaning over 70 trailer trucks of pet food can be transported to almost all European countries, North Africa, the Middle East, the Far East, Australia and New Zealand. The foundation stone of the investment was laid by Mr. Péter Noszek, managing director of Nestlé and Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Bicycle made of Nespresso coffee capsules? Recycle and RE:CYCLE

The number of collected used coffee capsules continues to grow, offering a second life for capsules as new objects. Following the success of Swiss army knife Victorinox and Caran d’Ache pen, Nespresso cooperated with Swedish Vélosophy biicycle and lifestyle brand to create an elegant and urban bicycle, named RE:CYCLE, made of recycled aluminum capsules. The bicycles are being tested by journalists and influencers.

As we talk more and more about sustainable living, sustainable transportation, many do not consider the size of their own ecological footprint in their household. Following the success of last year’s Recycling Guide, we have prepared another sustainability publication together with Nestlé, with the professional support of HUMUSZ Association. Artistic coffee and champagne production methods from Sumatra and Somló

What is common in premium-quality aged coffee and traditional method champagne? Manual harvesting, slow aging, and special soil determine the unique character of both drinks. Balázs Márkosi, Nespresso Coffee Ambassador and András Horkay wine expert have introduced Nespresso’s new, limited edition Master Origin Aged Sumatra coffee capsules by presenting the parallels of aged coffee and champagne production. We have organized a special online event to commemorate the occasion, during which participants tasted both drink specialties in their own homes, while experts presented the exciting craftsmanship of the products.

From idea to implementation

The community of Dreher Breweries welcomed a new resident in the summer of 2020. The sculptor Mihály Kolodko created the miniature sculpture of the founder of the company, Antal Dreher, now on display in the premises of the brewery. The sculptor, known for his tiny sculptures hidden in the hustle and bustle of Budapest, also placed a miniature horse carriage filled with beer barrels at the entrance of the brewery. Teqball World Championship

The 3rd Teqball World Championships attracted 158 competitors from 57 countries in Budapest. The event welcomed great stars such as Ronaldinho, Puyol and Nuno Gomes. The Brazilian soccer legend met Tamás Menczer, Minister of State for Communication and Hungary’s International Image at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, at the opening press conference and handed him an emblematic Teqball table.   This was not the first time we handled press communication for Teqball’s world championship. In 2019, we, as a Hungarian agency, coordinated the overall communication of all international media, as well as the British and American agencies.

Unicorn companies, apply!

For the second time, we organized the Regional Startup and Innovation Day with Hiventures in 2019, which is one of the most prestigious startup networking events of not only Hungary but the entire region.  We celebrated the boom of the Hungarian startup ecosystem with over 600 participants at the Museum of Fine Arts.  In addition to the award ceremony, the groundbreaking Get in the Ring! startup competition’s regional finals were also held, and as a novelty, guests could participate in investor speed dating as well.
